SAT Prep Class for Juniors
All 11th grade students should be preparing to take the SAT this spring. Hopefully your high school is offering a free/discounted SAT prep course. If not, please strongly consider applying to Revolution Prep for test preparation for the May 1st and/or June 5th administration of the SAT. Rev Prep offers six-week courses in both San Francisco and Oakland/Alameda. Scholarships are READILY available to cover the course cost. Applications need to be submitted to Rev Prep at least two weeks before the start of courses so that scholarships can be processed. Alumni Advisory Council
The purpose of the Alumni Advisory Council (AAC) is to provide KBAS alumni with the leadership opportunity in which to make the KIPP Through College (KTC) program the most effective for our alumni. The AAC is chaired by Ms. Caro Jauregui, KTC Program Assistant. The following students have been selected as founding members of the AAC:

11th Grade Readiness Plan
During the fall of 2009, the KTC Team developed the 11th Grade Readiness Plan. The Plan was distributed at KBAS reunions and is also available in the counselor’s office of KIPP San Jose Collegiate and KIPP King. The 11th Grade Readiness Plan is intended to guide 11th graders through the process of applying to college.
