KIPP San Francisco Bay Academy is a free public school that is open to all residents of the State of California. Enrollment Steps
Step 1: Complete Interest Form. Send or fax form to the address or number below.

Step 2: Make appointment to visit school and fill out Admissions Application.
Step 3: If admitted to KIPP San Francisco Bay Academy, an orientation and home visit will be required.
Enrollment Period for 2012-2013 school year
5th Grade
• January 25th – March 23rdth – August 1st Priority enrollment period
• April 3rdth – August 1st A public lottery will be held to determine students who will be admitted based on number of openings.
• April 16thth – August 1st Notification of admittance mailed
• April 16th-August 1stth – August 1st Open enrollment: provided space is available
6th Grade
• January 25th – February 17th Open enrollment
• February 4th Assessment administered at 9:30a at the school
• March 3rd Assessment administered at 1:00p at the school
• March 12th A public lottery will be held to determine students who will be admitted based on number of openings available.
• March 15th Notification of admittance mailed.
