KIPP San Francisco Bay Academy is a free public school that is open to all residents of the State of California. KIPP San Francisco Bay Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, national origin or disability of the students and/or the parents or guardians. No student will be denied admittance based on academic or behavior record. The enrollment policy for KIPP San Francisco Bay Academy is as follows:
Enrollment Steps
Step 1: Complete Interest Form. Send or fax form to the address or number below.
Step 2: Make appointment to visit school and fill out Admissions Application.
Step 3: If admitted to KIPP San Francisco Bay Academy, an orientation and home visit will be required.
Enrollment Period
5th Grade
• January 25th – March 26th Priority Enrollment Period
• April 12th Notification of admittance mailed
• April 12th – August 2nd Open enrollment: Provided space is available
6th Grade (Must complete assessment to determine grade placement before admission)
• January 25th – February 19th Open enrollment: Provided space is available
• February 6th Assessment administered at 9:30am at the school
• February 20th Assessment administered at 1:00pm at the school
• March 8th A public lottery will be held to determine students who will be admitted based on number of openings available
• March 15th Notification of admittance mailed
