External referrers:
Anyone can submit a name for consideration as a teacher. However, only KIPP Bay Area Schools employees are eligible for a bonus.
KIPP Bay Area Schools employees:
To encourage all faculty and staff to help find teachers to join KIPP schools in the Bay Area, KIPP Bay Area Schools will pay a referral bonus of $500 to any KIPP Bay Area Schools employee (except school leaders) whose referral is hired by a KIPP Bay Area school.
Eligibility: All KIPP Bay Area Schools employees (except school leaders) are eligible for the referral bonus.
Bonuses: The referral bonus will be awarded upon hiring. All bonuses are stated as after tax amounts.
How it works: The referring employee should complete this online KIPP Bay Area Schools Teacher Referral form. Bonuses will only be awarded if the referral form is completed and submitted.
• All bonuses will be paid directly to the referring employee and are subject to applicable taxes.
• Referral bonuses apply to external teaching candidates only.
• Referral bonuses will not be paid on repeat applicants.
• There is no limit to the number of referral bonuses for which one may qualify.
• If a candidate is referred by multiple people, the first person to submit the referral bonus form will be eligible for the bonus.
• The Referral Bonus Program is intended to connect us with people we would not otherwise have found by making the first introduction. We review each referral form submitted and reserve the right to let you know if we have already been connected to your referral, thereby making you ineligible for the Referral Bonus.
• The Talent Recruitment Manager, along with the Executive Director of KIPP Bay Area Schools and the appropriate school leader, is responsible for administration of the program, including disputes, and will work with the Finance team to manage payments.
