In August of 2008, KIPP San Jose Collegiate opened in East San Jose to serve the students of that community. At KIPP San Jose Collegiate, students, parents, and staff members commit to excellence and do whatever it takes to make sure every single student matriculates to and is successful in the nation’s finest four-year colleges and universities. KIPP San Jose Collegiate prepares students with a rigorous and challenging academic program that will pushes them to think, read, write, and speak critically. In addition to academic rigor, we are committed to building leaders who are confident, poised and committed to make positive change in their communities and the greater global community. Approximately 90% of our students will be the first in their families to go to college.

A cohesive team of educators makes an outstanding school. All KIPP San Jose Collegiate educators must have the heart, expertise, and devotion needed to create an exemplary school. Candidates MUST have at least two years full time teaching experience, and hold a valid California Teaching Credential.
